Its the end of January 2016 already the year is flying by.
this is some of the crafts that I have done over the last few months.

2015 - Happy New Year 

Here we are we have all survived another year.  Hope this years is bigger and better for you all.

Since last posting I have started a new job and been very busy with learning the jobs and finding out that I will be gaining more tasks as 2 of the other Admin and Reception have left or are leaving.  So I have been busy learning different aspects of there jobs as well.

I hope to post and keep my blog a bit more up to date than I have in the past.  I want to learn or relearn some new and old crafts that I haven't completed done for a few years.

I have already started on the road to learning new things.  The other day I made a Gem Tree of which I have wanted to do for a long time.  We went to a little beading shop in Leichhardt and got the gems and all the supplies.

This is my first attempt at making a Gem Tree.

This one was made for a lovely lady that left where I am currently working.  

I have had my sister and her family visiting since Just before Christmas.  We have been busy doing lots of touristy type things.  

A lesson in Parchment that I haven't done for a long time.  I really enjoyed it and hope to learn more soon.

Absents
I have been busy trying to organise my new home and my craft supplies and finding places to put all my craft supplies.

During the rains the other day our shed floor got very wet in 1 corner so we have had to take everything out to see what is damaged and no longer usable.   Luck that most of it was ok lost a few things but not much.  Repacked into plastic tubs and put it back in shed or it will be when it cools down a little as its a bit warm in the shed to spend to much time in there.

Craft wise I have been cutting miniatures houses out for my mum and her miniatures group.  all I can say about those is that I will be glad when they are finished.

I have been doing a little bit of crafting along the way of a night after work or as needed

This is a sympathy card I made its a Carol Dunne file.  the name of the file is Cross and Lillies.  Its a 3D box card.  

I have made a few other items as well but dont have photos of them.

Recently I went to the Sydney Papercraft Show at Penrith and had a lovely day wandering around seeing all the new techniques that are around.  

I am about to re learn parchment that I havent done in a long time.  I use to enjoy making doing the parchment cards.  However I need to find which box my parchment tools are in.  So off to do a bit more unpacking and see if I can locate my tools.

Local wildlife

We are all in our new home, we have boxes everywhere.  So the fun begins to unpack and put where it needs to be.

We have met some of the local wildlife that appears to live in our backyard.  He has been on the back step most night except tonight he decided that our hose was the best view.  (I must get some better photos of him)

Just wanted to let people know that I haven't forgotten about you or my blog.  My idea was to put something up every few days but this weekend Nick and I are moving  to a house instead of a unit.  So haven't had much of a chance to do anything as my cutting machines and craft supplies are all packed.  Give me a week and i will start putting up some more creations.

This is our new home for the time being.  

Spent the weekend in Melbourne with my sisters family to celebrate my nephews 18th.  Had a lovely time with my sister we both do crafts.  She does some lovely bead work of which I might showcase some of her work here in the next few weeks.
